Birthday Parties

Celebrate your child’s birthday in our beautiful countryside setting, situated on our fabulous 160 – acre Care Farm, based in the Vale of Glamorgan. Our Farm is just 5 minutes from the A48 and close to the M4 and Cardiff. With a party package to suit every child and their friends, there’s free range fun for everyone! Suitable for children 4+ years and above.

Join us for a guided tour of the Farm to meet the animals in their enclosures. Count the number of chickens and help to collect the eggs, meet and smooth the donkeys, hang out with our alpacas, visit the pigs and see if you can find all our smaller furry friends.  We end the tour with a rabbit and guinea pig petting session. Corporate Away Days

Located in the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan an Away day for you and your work colleagues at Amelia Trust Farm gives your team a day of fresh air, exercise, team building and a fun day away from your place of work.

Past groups who have taken part in Away Days at the Farm have found that it has helped them to promote employee bonding, relationship-building, particularly across departments that rarely work together and raise social awareness.

Participants leave feeling re-energised, de-stressed and motivated with a developed sense of achievement through doing something worthwhile for a great cause!

Why not include a volunteering project as part of your Away Day at the Farm – for more information please see our Group Volunteering.

Spiritual Place

We welcome everyone to the Farm.  For some people, Amelia Trust Farm is a special place for reflection and a haven of peace. We have a Prayer Labyrinth at the Farm where groups or individuals can walk and pray and a Celtic Cross which was dedicated as a symbol of God’s presence on the Farm and opened by HRH Prince of Wales in 1997.

Amelia Trust Farm was set up with the support of the Methodist Church in Wales and it is a prime example of service to the community and caring for vulnerable and disadvantaged people.  The Farm’s Chaplain is a Methodist Minister whose role it is to support the staff, volunteers and service users of the Farm, and to reflect the rich Christian heritage of The Methodist Church at the Farm through prayer, quiet days and various services throughout the year for example at Christmas and Harvest-time. Members of the Methodist Church are also active as trustees and volunteers at the Farm.
