Farm Fun during February Half Term

Our cheeky trio of goats and loveable pony duo were the stars of the Farm this half term!

Despite the weather not always being the best, our countryside sanctuary was packed full of smiling faces for the school holiday, and we loved every second. Our Meet the Ponies and Meet the Goats sessions were incredibly popular with children aged from 5 to 15, and it was brilliant to see just how much joy our animals brought to our visitors.

In our Meet the Goats sessions, Snap, Crackle, and Pop were delighted to have so many hands available to pet them and give them a cuddle. Crackle was very enthusiastic about his new friends – especially when he realised food was involved!

Buddy and Mac have never looked as well groomed as they did at the end of last week. During our Meet the Ponies sessions, we had some fantastic little groomers getting the ponies looking perfect, and of course, the ponies loved the attention too.

Learning from our Animal Care Lead

It wasn’t just our animals that were a hit with visitors last week… when the weather improved, we had lots of visitors enjoying our Gnome and Fairy trail, completing our seasonal trail and playing in the park. There really is no better way to spend a few hours than outside in the fresh air.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us for half term – see you again soon!

The health and safety of our animals is our highest priority, and that’s why the sessions we offered were limited. If you missed out on tickets this time, make sure you’re following us on social media so that you’re the first to know about future events.

We’ve got lots of special events planned for 2022 so keep your eyes peeled for more exciting announcements!
