Hello, I’m Jack! I started my role as the Animal Care Tutor in Nov 2023 and have loved every minute so far. My job is to teach our young people how to feed, clean, care for and handle all the animals that reside on the farm. The purpose of these lessons is to help develop routine, build confidence and provide quality time interacting with animals. I find working with the animals and young people incredibly rewarding and feel very lucky to be a part of the team here at the farm.
Fun Facts – When in South Africa I went in a cage while Great White sharks swam less than a meter away from me! I studied Zoology at Swansea University and loved learning about animal behaviour and evolution. I love to keep fit and can often be found at the gym, or surfing during the summer, and I enjoy playing darts for a team!
