Hi I’m Lizzie, the Work Skills Tutor on the GROW Programme. I started my role here in September 2023. I’m here to help our young service users to develop their confidence and practical skills, preparing them for employment. This ranges from carpentry in the workshop, woodland management and getting them involved with maintenance projects around the site. It’s great to see the individuals develop themselves and there’s never a dull day!
Fun Fact – These boots were made for walking! I’ve walked from London to Brighton and hiked around Mont Blanc. In my spare time I enjoy being creative and always have a project on the go. I’m also a vegan (of course I had to tell you that!).
