I began working at Amelia Trust Farm in July 2018, and it is fair to say the time has absolutely flown by! I’ve worn various hats in my time here, but my role these days is to oversee and organise the various education projects we run here at the Farm – this includes maintaining dialogue with referrers and families, developing supporting strategies and education plans for the young people we work with, and leading our fantastic GROW team. No two days are alike here at the Farm, and I absolutely love working in such a dynamic outdoor environment, where I am reminded of the power of community on a daily basis. Having been here for a few years, I have seen how over time the work we do with young people can impact their lives and help them to move forwards positively, which is so rewarding to witness.
Fun fact – I can play guitar upside down. I am irrationally terrified of sock puppets.
