Activities for the Second Week of the Easter Holidays in the Vale

Now that the eggs have all been eaten and the bank holiday weekend is over, it’s the perfect time to come and enjoy some fresh air at the lovely Amelia Trust!

We had a great response to our Big Easter Event last week, but don’t forget there are still lots of activities going on in the Vale during the second week of the Easter holidays too.

Meet the Animals during the Easter Holidays

We are focusing on wellbeing for the second week of the Easter holidays, and we want to encourage families and friends to come and enjoy the benefits of being in the countryside and spending time with animals. Take time away from screens and recharge ready for the new term.

Meet the Ponies

Our beautiful Shetland ponies are called Buddy and Mac, and our Meet the Ponies sessions let’s children get up close and personal with the gorgeous duo. During the activities you’ll find out what they like to eat, how they play, and what ponies do every day. Help to groom them, give them a cuddle, and ask our Animal Care team your questions!

Children must be 5 years old or older to take part.

Meet the Ponies will be running at 2:00pm on:

Tuesday 19th April
Thursday 21st April
