Join us on Saturday 26th November as we spread some community Christmas cheer!
On Saturday 26th November between 10am and 12 midday, we’ll be in the Sports Hall for a festive fiesta. It’s guaranteed to get you in the mood for the most wonderful time of the year!
There’ll be a performance from Porthkerry Community Choir and the chance to join in with some carols. There’ll be a craft corner with some activities for the children. We’ll also have a display of wooden Christmas trees, decorated by local organisations for you to admire – and vote for your favourite!
Adult tickets include tea/coffee and a mince pie, and children’s tickets include squash and biscuits.
Showcasing Local Organisations
By asking local organisations to take part in our Community Christmas event and decorate a tree, we hope to showcase local opportunities. From Guides, Brownies, and Cubs, to Lifeguards, Football, Sea Cadets, and Junior Church, come and see if there’s a group you’d like to join.
Volunteers and staff from Amelia Trust Farm will also be at the event. If you’ve ever thought about volunteering, but weren’t sure where to start, come and pop in! Have a chat and find out how you can get involved too.
See the Animals & Explore the Woodland
Once the event in the Sports Hall is finished, the fun doesn’t stop! Stay and enjoy wandering the rest of our Care Farm. See the animals, play in the outdoor park, and go for a stomp in the woodlands.
Amelia Trust Farm is a Care Farm and outdoor attraction, so please wear sensible footwear (wellies or boots) and remember to bring layers and waterproofs to really get the most out of your visit.
