Bring a picnic and settle down at a picnic bench in the woods or on the open field, and enjoy a leisurely lunch. Or, pop to the café to grab a light bite or snack.

You’ll also be able to enjoy our farm trail.

Bring your own food to eat outside or visit the café for lunch, snacks, hot drinks, and ice-cream.

Make sure you take part in our season trail, wander the woodland, and see the animals too! There’s also a lovely outdoor park and lots of open space to let off some steam.

You can bring your own food or picnic lunch, or we have a café onside serving light meals, snacks and treats.

Animal Interactions and Nature Walks

You’ll have plenty of chances to spend time with our lovely Amelia Trust animals during the summer holidays. Our Animal Care team will be leading a variety of different sessions across the summer holidays for children of different ages – including taster sessions for little ones aged between 3 and 5.

Private Alpaca Experience

A unique opportunity for adults (18+) to spend one-to-one time with our gorgeous alpacas, Horace and Hufflepuff.

We are delighted to introduce a brand new adults-only activity for summer 2022. During your private alpaca experience, you’ll have the opportunity to meet our alpacas, walk them, feed them, and take some up close photos to remember your special day.

Perfect for friends and couples to do together, you’ll be with a member of our Animal Care team at all times, and see our Care Farm from a totally different perspective. This activity is perfect for alpaca-lovers, or someone looking for something a little different to do this summer.

Be a Farmer for the Day

Ideal for children aged 8 – 12 years to experience being a farmer for the day.

Back by popular demand! A huge success in previous years, we are so excited to reintroduce our Be a Farmer for the Day activity. A full day of fun at the Farm that is perfect for animal enthusiasts to experience life on a Care Farm.

Children will spend the day in a small group with one of our Animal Care Team, helping to complete essential tasks around the Farm. The day will be split into 3 sessions with a morning break and a break for lunch. Children can expect to get stuck in with a variety of different activities, and can ask as many questions during the day as they would like!

Children will need to bring their own lunch and wear suitable clothing – you will get muddy!

Parents will not be able to stay with the children throughout the day, but you are welcome to buy separate entrance tickets and enjoy the Farm on your own. If you would like explore the Farm after the activity, please feel free to do so as entrance to the Farm is included in the Be a Farmer ticket price. You can enjoy seeing the other animals, strolling through the woodland, spotting wildlife, and being in the fresh air. There is a café onsite.
