What’s On

Share the Love this Valentine’s Day

Everyone deserves a little love this Valentine’s Day – including our wonderful animals!

Valentine’s Day is all about love, and there’s nothing we love more than the gorgeous animals that call Amelia Trust home. This Valentine’s Day, February 14th, we’d like to invite the whole family to join us for a day of animal appreciation!

During the day, a member of our Animal Care team will be in the Animal Centre to tell you more about our small animals, including our rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, degus, and of course, our reptiles. Pop in and chat to the team, give the animals a groom and some love.

Throughout the day there will be animal talks at our outdoor paddocks, giving you the chance to get to know our donkeys, pigs, goats and more.

Don’t forget to head over to our Field Study Centre to have a go at a lovely craft too!

This is a fundraising event for our charity and will help us raise money to continue out charitable work. Read more information and book your tickets by clicking the button below.

Be a Farmer for the Day during February Half Term

Our Be a Farmer activity is suitable for 8 – 12 year olds who love animals. It’s always a really popular day out and we find that lots of our young farmers come back again and again!

The activity lasts for 4 hours and will involve children helping take care of our animals. As well as spending time with our small animals, children will be with our equines and will help feed our larger animals. For more information and to book a space, please click the button below.

Due to the nature of the activity, each session is limited to 6 children so if you’re keen to secure a space for your child, please don’t wait too long to book. Our sessions are on Saturday 10th February and Sunday 18th February.
